“Beauty is in the details”

Beauty is in the details.

Even with a marvellous design,

true beauty cannot be achieved if the details are neglected.

Refinement comes through many layers of beautiful details.

Let’s explore the essence of Grand Seiko’s beauty.

STGK031

Sakura-kakushi is a phenomenon in which cherry blossoms are gently hidden beneath a blanket of snow in early spring. It is a beautiful occurrence that can be observed in northern Japan, home to the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, where Grand Seiko mechanical watches are made.

The dial depicting this phenomenon has already earned a great response and can be found on the first model to adopt a refined, 30mm case in the modern interpretation of the 62GS.

The delicate size of the hands and indexes is well matched to the case’s smaller size, which ensures a balanced design and comfort on a woman’s wrist.

It captures the beautiful ambience of spring cherry blossoms on the dial, enjoyable for only a brief moment, and offers excellent wearability.
